In 2022, Josh Krueger joined forces with one of his best friends, Casey Schmidt, who started his own recruiting company. Casey helped Josh learn the ropes of recruiting, and in 2025, Josh bought the company from Casey. The name Tactex derives from the word tactical, and symbolizes the specific and precise nature of recruiting, to find the best talent.

Josh has an engrained desire to see other businesses and people become more successful. It drives him. So, whether it's helping a company's hiring staff find an amazing fit for their team, or whether it's helping an employee find a new fit at a great company, both are rewarding. It's exciting to be part of a company's future growth, as well as helping people find a new career/home!
